Hello Everyone!
To those who have faithfully read At Peace posts and folks who are visiting the blog for the first time, I thank you for finding us here.
As many of you may know, in the past I have written about two posts per month for the past few years. The posts primarily dealt with life’s losses and the resulting grief. Every now and then I would slip in something I learned from my grandchildren, or something I found humorous, or at least I thought so. We started during the pandemic a few years ago and continued up to several months ago when there has been few, if any, posts.
I tried to make most of these posts helpful for you if you experienced a loss or were in the process of losing a loved one. I also hoped that my thoughts could help you companion a friend or family member who was dealing with loss of some sort.
So, where have I gone? I have spent much of my time this year volunteering with the Presbyterian Church, helping my daughter with my incredible grandchildren (ages 6-9), and dealing with a few somewhat minor health challenges. I hope to continue to write.
I am trying to once again write about the important issues associated with life’s losses. I would like to ask a favor of you. I am wondering if folks who visit regularly have specific questions or issues which led you to this site. This would help me “re-focus” once again.
If you are a visitor, I would suggest you take a look at some of the past posts (look at the past titles of the posts (listed below each of the posts, and read one or two). I was interested to see 62 posts for grief and loss, 51 for bereavement, 49 for hope, and 45 regarding my observations.
Let me know what you found helpful or interesting or even boring ( I will try to avoid more of the last comment). You may reply by writing a comment without your name. I promise not to bother any of you with personal replies, unless you request that I respond.
I appreciate your visit and look forward to hearing from you. I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving and You will have joy in the upcoming holiday season!
With gratitude and wishing you peace,Robin Cowherd (At Peace)
